From eco-friendly kitchens and baths to cutting-edge technology in lighting and flooring, there are many aspects of design to consider in both residential and commercial buildings. The MA! Atlanta Design Festival and Architecture Tour 2017 seeks to pull back the curtain on what's going on behind the scenes of building design and architecture in Atlanta.
It does this in a few ways: first, there's the expo. The massive expo invites all types of design entrepreneurs to come out and show what they've been working on, mostly elements that belong in a furnished space or in the structure itself. However, some exhibitors will also showcase lifestyle and fashion items, as well as other crafts. The expo runs from June 8th to 11th, with architecture tours taking place in Atlanta, Athens, and even Asheville, North Carolina from June 3rd to the 11th. Admission to the expo is free, but tours start at $20 depending on the location. The money is well worth it when you consider how many stunning commercial and residential buildings you'll encounter over the course of the tour.
