Aria is One of Atlanta’s Most Creative New Eateries

Atlanta is well-known as one of the top foodie destinations in the country, and Aria is one of its tried-and-true restaurants. Owner and head chef Gerry Klaskala recently revamped this iconic eatery, giving it a complete makeover and a mission to bring creativity and interest to every dish.

Aria is known for its visually beautiful dishes that blend art and cooking. Menus are updated nightly, but dishes may include things like salads of arugula, endive, mushrooms, and fennel, octopus tempura, crisped duck confit and cervena venison. The wine list is impeccable and the cocktails are inventive, and even the newly renovated, minimal dining room will leave you feeling inspired.

Those that need something extra hearty will look to the Cabbagetown Breakfast Bowl, which is filled with grits and topped with sharp cheddar, bacon, a poached egg, arugula, and your choice of protein. Veggie lovers will appreciate the Ratatouille sandwich, which takes the components of the soup, and puts them between two slices of bread. Complement any of these with one of the house-crafted drinks, and you’ll have a meal that satisfies in a big way.

Explore the Concept of Design at the MA! Atlanta Design Festival and Architecture Tour 2017

From eco-friendly kitchens and baths to cutting-edge technology in lighting and flooring, there are many aspects of design to consider in both residential and commercial buildings. The MA! Atlanta Design Festival and Architecture Tour 2017 seeks to pull back the curtain on what's going on behind the scenes of building design and architecture in Atlanta.

It does this in a few ways: first, there's the expo. The massive expo invites all types of design entrepreneurs to come out and show what they've been working on, mostly elements that belong in a furnished space or in the structure itself. However, some exhibitors will also showcase lifestyle and fashion items, as well as other crafts. The expo runs from June 8th to 11th, with architecture tours taking place in Atlanta, Athens, and even Asheville, North Carolina from June 3rd to the 11th. Admission to the expo is free, but tours start at $20 depending on the location. The money is well worth it when you consider how many stunning commercial and residential buildings you'll encounter over the course of the tour.
