Java Cats is Atlanta’s first cat cafe, and only the third in the region. The adorable felines here come from PAWS Atlanta, which is one of the state’s longest-running no-kill animal shelters. They can be found inside the cat lounge area, which is separate from where the Erbik coffee and food is served. Here you can play and interact with all different kinds of felines. If you just so happen to fall in love with one of them, you can inquire about adoption right then and there. What’s more, this cafe provides job training and a stable income to the homeless, making this a phenomenally feel-good spot to visit.
